A recent EURUSD month, rebuilt in pips
EURUSD June 2026 candlestick data, from minute tape to daily range
FXAbsolute found 31,145 one-minute bid candles in June 2026. On fixed UTC boundaries, EURUSD moved from 1.16486 to 1.14129: -235.7 pips, or -2.023%.
Direct answer
What did EURUSD do in June 2026?
In the FXAbsolute Dukascopy bid series, using fixed UTC month boundaries, EURUSD opened at 1.16486, printed its high of 1.16648 at 06:59 UTC on 2026-06-01, reached its low of 1.13245 at 13:09 UTC on 2026-06-24, and closed at 1.14129.
The open-to-close move was -235.7 pips, or -2.023%. Because the observed high came first, the high-to-later-low path measured -340.3 pips. The pair then recovered 88.4 pips from its low into the UTC month close.

June ranked 16th from the weakest return among 66 complete UTC months. It was a material decline, not an all-history extreme.
12,304 M1 closes fell below 1.1500 across 13 UTC dates—39.506% of observed June candles.
The median weekday range was 54.6 pips. The widest date, 2026-06-17, spanned 138.8 pips.
14:00-15:00 had the largest median hourly range at 16.6 pips; 13:00-14:00 was second at 15.5 pips.
The month on one page
Twenty-two UTC weekday candles
Daily OHLC is rebuilt from M1 bids. Sunday-open fragments remain in the monthly source count but do not become separate weekday candles.
The chart is a visualization of the table below, not a separate price source. Hover or focus through the table for exact values.
The widest date
June 17 carried more than twice the median range
spanned 138.8 pips, compared with the month's 54.6 pips median weekday range. It was also the weakest close-to-close date at -102.8 pips (-0.885%).
The strongest close-to-close date was at +40.2 pips. Those two extremes show why a month-level return cannot describe the path traders actually faced.
The sequence is descriptive. Bid OHLC does not identify a cause or convert either date into a repeatable setup.
1.1500 threshold audit
Below 1.1500 became the month-end regime
The first M1 close below 1.1500 occurred at 2026-06-08 09:35 UTC. The last was the final June candle. Across the month, 12,304 closes sat below the threshold, with 5 downward and 4 upward close-to-close crossings.
The minimum M1 close was 1.13249; the intraminute low was 1.13245. A threshold count is useful for auditing persistence, but it is not support, resistance, or a signal.
“Below 1.1500” means an observed Dukascopy M1 bid close, not an ask quote, midpoint, official fixing, or futures settlement.

Friday rows commonly contain fewer minutes because the source closes before UTC midnight. June 19 contains 1,249 observed candles. Counts are published rather than padded to 1,440, and pip arithmetic uses the unrounded float32 prices.

14:00-15:00 ranked first in June 2026, but it has only 22 observations. This page does not rename one recent month as the universally “best time to trade EURUSD.” The all-history question belongs to the separate hour-by-hour EURUSD study.
Four non-overlapping clock buckets
Range by fixed UTC window
These buckets cover the UTC day without overlap. They provide a second view of intraday range while avoiding claims that a fixed UTC hour is a venue's year-round open.
Median high-low range across 22 qualifying blocks; median share of the full UTC-day range: 51.5%.
Median high-low range across 22 qualifying blocks; median share of the full UTC-day range: 54.3%.
Median high-low range across 22 qualifying blocks; median share of the full UTC-day range: 60.6%.
Median high-low range across 18 qualifying blocks; median share of the full UTC-day range: 31.4%.
The 13:00-17:00 UTC bucket had the widest median range at 29.8 pips. This comparison does not isolate independent session effects: ranges can overlap the same daily move, macro releases vary by date, and the buckets do not shift with daylight-saving time.

June 2026's -2.023% return was weaker than June 2024 but less negative than June 2021 and June 2022. Its 54.6 pips median weekday range was the smallest of these six June samples by pips and by percentage of open. Six observations still cannot establish a June seasonal effect.

Source reconciliation
Why two EURUSD June tables can disagree
A difference is not automatically an error. “EURUSD close” can refer to different quote sides, instruments, calendars, or sampling rules.
Spot feed versus futures
This page measures Dukascopy spot EURUSD. CME euro futures quote a related exchange-rate exposure through dated contracts, with contract conventions, expiry, and basis. An official reference rate is usually one observation at a specified time. Neither is the same object as a continuous spot bid tape.
Bid, ask, or midpoint
Every number here is a bid. Ask quotes are normally higher by the spread, while midpoint data sit between bid and ask. The distinction is small beside a 340.3-pip monthly span but can change an exact high, low, close, or 1.1500 threshold count.
Day boundary
FXAbsolute groups this study by UTC calendar date and UTC month. Many brokers build D1 candles from a New York-close trading day. The underlying M1 path can be identical while daily open, close, high time, candle count, and percentage return differ.
Pips and observations
One pip is 0.0001. FXAbsolute calculates pip differences from unrounded source floats before displaying one decimal place. Closed periods are absent and never padded. Monthly extremes use intraminute highs and lows; the below-1.1500 count uses closes, so it answers a narrower question.
For an exact comparison, align all four choices first: instrument, quote side, calendar boundary, and observation rule. The downloadable CSV makes those choices inspectable instead of asking the reader to trust a rounded summary.
Source integrity
The old history survived the refresh byte for byte
The production file now contains 2,033,276 EURUSD M1 candles. Its header changed because the count increased, so a whole-file hash cannot prove the earlier history stayed still. The analyzer reconstructs the Phase 4 1,911,141-candle header over the current prefix and hashes that exact byte sequence.

Exactly what was measured
The definitions are intentionally plain enough to reproduce in another language.
Calendar
All month, date, hour, and fixed-window boundaries use UTC. A weekday row is a Monday-through-Friday UTC calendar date, not a broker-specific New York-close D1 candle.
Pip definition
One EURUSD pip is defined as 0.0001. Pip differences are calculated from unrounded float32 source values and rounded to one decimal only for publication.
Open and close
Month open is the first observed bid open at or after 00:00 UTC on June 1. Month close is the last observed bid close before 00:00 UTC on July 1.
Daily range
Daily range is the highest observed M1 bid high minus the lowest observed M1 bid low for each UTC weekday, divided by 0.0001.
Hourly range
Each fixed UTC hour is summarized only when at least 45 observed M1 candles exist in that date-hour block.
Fixed windows
The four labeled UTC windows are clock buckets, not claims about one venue open. A block qualifies with at least 80% of its possible M1 observations. Windows are not shifted for daylight-saving time.
Return
Open-to-close percentage return is close divided by open minus one. Close-to-close daily return uses the previous observed UTC weekday close.
Missing time
No missing minute is forward-filled. Closed-market intervals are absent. Counts describe observed bid candles rather than an assertion that every wall-clock minute must trade.
Citation-ready result
A compact answer with its boundary attached
FXAbsolute measured 31,145 Dukascopy EURUSD M1 bid candles in June 2026. On fixed UTC month boundaries, EURUSD opened at 1.16486, reached 1.16648, fell to 1.13245, and closed at 1.14129—an open-to-close change of -235.7 pips, or -2.023%. The page publishes every M1 row, daily pip ranges, fixed-hour evidence, and source hashes.

Can I download the June 2026 EURUSD candlesticks as CSV?
Yes. FXAbsolute publishes all 31,145 June M1 OHLC rows at https://fxabsolute.com/research-data/eurusd-june-2026-m1.csv. The CSV SHA-256 is 2010478a4c1922656fb38e0d3fe869a4b9b727d394605c2752197002649f6dcf.
Why can this EURUSD close differ from another historical table?
This page uses Dukascopy bid OHLC and fixed UTC boundaries. Another table may use ask or midpoint quotes, a New York-close broker day, CME euro futures, or an official once-daily reference rate. Those definitions can produce different values without either table being internally inconsistent.
How current is the FXAbsolute EURUSD candle archive?
At publication, the production file contains 2,033,276 M1 candles through 2026-08-31T08:59:00Z. Its first 1,911,141 candles reproduce the exact earlier snapshot hash, proving the refresh was append-only.
