# FXAbsolute Pattern Atlas > Eighteen real-data visual examples with a Simple View, Evidence View and Replay Lab, published by FXAbsolute. Updated 2026-09-09. XAUUSD M15 bid candles from June 2026. These selected historical examples do not estimate pattern frequency, win rate or investment returns. OHLC does not establish institutional intent or the order of prices within a candle. The canonical HTML pages and Markdown references describe the same examples. Each reference identifies the source event, confirmation time, observation horizon, method and limitations. ## Main product and collection - [FXAbsolute workspace](https://fxabsolute.com/): Historical replay, drawings, trade simulation and journaling. Free and unlimited — every instrument, every timeframe, every indicator and drawing tool, the journal and the analytics, at no cost, with no download and no credit card. No sign-in is needed to start; a free account is asked for from a second visit onward and unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked. Choose the instrument and date in the workspace. - [Product guide](https://fxabsolute.com/guide): How the workspace works. - [Pattern Atlas](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas): All 18 canonical visual pages. ## Individual references - [Fair value gap](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/fair-value-gap.md): An FVG is a strict non-overlap between the first and third candle wicks. The middle candle remains part of the formation and may have traded through the highlighted prices. - [Liquidity sweep](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/liquidity-sweep.md): This example uses a wick above the preceding eight-bar high followed by a close below that high. It illustrates a price excursion and return; OHLC cannot identify the orders behind it. - [Break of structure](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/break-of-structure.md): The example marks a swing high that exceeds two highs on each side. A later close above it is the upward structural break under this Atlas rule. - [Change of character](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/change-of-character.md): Two successively lower confirmed swing highs provide the bearish context in this illustration. A later close above the latest of those highs changes that high-side sequence. - [Order block](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/order-block.md): Here the zone is the full range of a bearish candle immediately before a bullish candle that closes above the previous eight-bar high. This makes the otherwise discretionary zone reproducible. - [Equal highs and lows](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/equal-highs-and-lows.md): Two confirmed swing highs lie within ten percent of the mean range of the preceding twenty candles. The narrow amber band makes that tolerance visible. - [Displacement](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/displacement.md): The highlighted candle has a body greater than one and a half times the mean full range of the preceding twenty completed candles. Its body also covers at least seventy percent of its own range. - [Support and resistance](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/support-and-resistance.md): The preceding eight completed candles define the range in this example. A later candle reaches the prior high but closes inside, illustrating a resistance test under a fixed rule. - [Supply and demand zones](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/supply-and-demand-zones.md): Three preceding candles define a base. A bullish departure closes above its high with a body larger than the full base height. The band preserves that original range. - [Support becomes resistance](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/support-becomes-resistance.md): A close below the preceding eight-bar low establishes the break. A later candle reaches that former floor from below and closes beneath it, producing the illustrated retest. - [Round numbers](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/round-numbers.md): The highlighted gold price is an exact multiple of ten dollars. A candle spans that level; its actual wick and close show how price interacted with it. - [Premium and discount](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/premium-and-discount.md): The high and low of the preceding sixteen completed candles define this reference range. The midpoint divides its upper and lower halves. - [Multi-timeframe analysis](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/multi-timeframe-analysis.md): Four consecutive, complete fifteen-minute bars produce one aligned hourly bar: first open, maximum high, minimum low and last close. - [Killzones](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/killzones.md): This visual uses the 08:00–10:00 America/New_York window on the displayed historical date. Shading follows the IANA timezone rather than a permanent UTC offset. - [Silver Bullet timing](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/silver-bullet.md): The highlighted window is 10:00–11:00 America/New_York on the example date. Four complete fifteen-minute candles occupy that hour. - [Balanced price range](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/balanced-price-range.md): A bullish and a later bearish three-candle wick gap overlap in price. The amber band is exactly their intersection, not the full width of either original gap. - [Buy-side and sell-side liquidity](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/buy-side-and-sell-side-liquidity.md): The preceding sixteen-bar high and low provide two visible reference levels. The later price path can cross either side; the chart itself cannot reveal resting stop orders. - [Confluence](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/confluence.md): This example combines a bullish wick-defined FVG with the lower half of a previously fixed sixteen-bar range. The gap midpoint lies beneath the reference midpoint. ## Supporting files - [Complete Atlas text](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas/llms-full.txt): All 18 references in one file. - [Structured Atlas reference](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas-data/ai-knowledge.json): Matching explanations, questions, canonical URLs, images and evidence links. - [Source manifest](https://fxabsolute.com/atlas-data/manifest.json): Event files, image paths and source provenance. - [AI Backtesting Lab](https://fxabsolute.com/ai-lab): Explore reproducible analysis.
